Murdoch's Bar & Grill takes pride in the rich history and tradition of the City of Calgary. The bar is named for George Murdoch, the first mayor of Calgary. Not only was he a natural born leader, he was also an easy going,"man of the people". He epitomized the hard-working, community-conscious Calgary businessman. It is in the spirit of his legacy that we run Murdoch's Bar & Grill.
Proud to be part of the Calgary community, our décor includes photographs from the Glenbow Museum archives that depict Calgary and Calgarian's throughout the years. We believe in supporting other Calgary businesses and source as many products as possible from local suppliers. Being part of the community also means giving back in any way you can. At Murdoch's we show our commitment to the Calgary community by supporting local groups, events, and charities:
